Charvina Viands
UI Designer

Hello! My name is Charvina and I am currently studying Game Design at UCF. I aspire to become a UI designer in the future, but I have achieved a diverse skillset which mainly includes art and design.
I have experience with simple 3D modeling and 2D art for game design. I have also worked with Unity and Unreal Engine to create UI for games created as class projects.

Revenant: Through the Veil
Hossam Sharawi, an archaeologist devastated by the loss of his lover, embarks on a daring quest into forbidden pyramids and ancient temples of Egypt. Armed with the Book of the Dead, he must summon powerful Egyptian gods and face them to navigate the risky journey through the afterlife. To bring back his lost lover, he needs to outwit and overcome these gods, each guarding a different tomb. Some gods are obstacles, seeking to hinder his progress, while others offer aid. However, the quest is part of an elaborate scheme by Seth, the God of Mischief, who manipulates the challenges to cause conflict between the other gods. Hossam’s ultimate goal is to reach the Field of Reeds, retrieve his lost love, and escape back to the land of the living.
Witchelin Star Start-Up
For this game, I created 2D UI elements and implemented them in Unity 6000 to create functional menus.
Vroombageddon
Using the cute aesthetic of cats riding on roombas, our team created a game similar to simple shuffleboard with a variety of power ups and abilities to keep gameplay engaging and fun.For this game, I also created 2D UI elements and implemented them in Unity 6000 to create functional menus.
Do or Die
My team created a 3D platformer game in Unity that is casino-themed. It follows the main character, dicehead, as he navigates his way out the same casino that took away his soul. For this game, I created the UI and all the elements used such as the cards, poker chips, dice, and health HUD.
Story-inspired Tabletop Game
For this project, my team went with a backrooms inspired board game.I created the 6 character sprites, character cards, character items, and the item cards for this game. A different team member drew the items in the item cards and the rest of the art was done by me.
Tabletop Board Game Inspired by an Existing Game
My team and I created a virtual board game on Tabletop Simulator inspired by Pokemon, specifically Pokemon Black and White.I designed the arena in which the players battle Pokémon, as well as the cards for the 10 different starter Pokémon. I also made 6 character tokens using the sprites of the original characters. The starter Pokémon in the cards were re-drawn by another team member.
